Ever heard of our famous & legendary Ogopogo? Your trip would not be complete without searching for the famous serpent. This evasive, smart and rarely seen serpent calls home "Okanagan Lake". The reported repeated sightings, stories and myth date back to the Interior Salish Native people who exchanged stories of a lake creature, or ďNíha-a-itkĒ, for over 100 years. The sea serpent later became known as Ogopogo and purported sightings over the years continue to strengthen the legend. See Ogopogo for yourself, where city park meets the lake downtown. Bring the kids, a super photo opportunity.
